“A Great Day Out in Tangiers”

We took the ferry from Tarifa over to Tangiers with no real idea about what we would do but we just wanted to spend a day looking round. Mr Abdelmoghit el Jelili was waiting on the pier. Tangier for a day

We started from Tarifa Spain and took the ferry to Tangier, which we thought was better than going from Algerciras. We booked the hotel in Tarifa with lastminute.com and started reading some tripadvisors stories about private guide tours. Found one with phone number and decided we would call him the morning after. One of our best trips

We fully recommend Mr. Abdel Moghit as a very professional tour guide. Apart from explaining all the interesting details in perfect English and French he also masters the Spanish language. We had a wonderful stay in Tanger at a reasonable price. We look forward to meeting him in the near future.

Fantastic Day Trip

Four friends and I decided to take a day trip across the Straits of Gibraltar to Tangiers this past Wednesday (08 July 2015). The Spanish tour operator that put the package together scheduled the guided tour. A little apprehensive at arriving on a completely different continent, a city and country to which I’d never set foot before, the apprehension was quickly put at bay when, emerging from the Port, we found Abdel waiting for us…

Partial day trip with family from Tarifa, Spain to Tangier

We made a reservation with Abdelmoghit El Jelili (Abdel) prior to leaving our home country based upon the Tangier Private Guide web site, and Abdel’s communication with us, and we are very happy that we did. Abdel arranged for us ferry reservations from Tarifa, Spain to Tangier and back to Tarifa. Our party consisted of two parents and two children (6 and 1.5 years of age).

“Super helpful!”

SO glad we did this. We were skeptical at first, but it ended up being a great experience. The city was very complex and he helped us navigate it easily. I don’t think we would have seen a quarter of the things that we did. It was very affordable (15 Euro per person). He spoke great English.

“Excellent 5 hour private guided tour”

We took a ferry ride across from Tarifa Los Barrrios Spain to Tangier. Once we disembarked we ran into Larry the tour guide, with who we negotiated a 5 hour private tour for 140 euro. Great way to see the inner workings and alleys of the area. Larry was both funny and educational in leading our family of four around an intriguing terrain. We got a van tour, camel ride, tours of some shops and an overall great walking tour.

My friends and I came from Madrid and had a wonderful time in Morocco thanks to Abdel. He had everyday organized perfectly and one thing was better than the next. Loved the tours and the restaurants he arranged for us to eat at. Hands down- one of the best guides I have ever had. Thank you Abdel!
